Large scale tourism and overseas investment rely on a complaisant population, willing to allow it, and political stability. What a pity it would be, if these shortsighted, foolish plans were derailed by direct action...

Like the rest of us who live in tourist hotspots, I would love it if we weren't such a destination for tourists with selfie sticks and no idea of good manners.

But our local cafe economy quite literally depends on it. We have more cafes than useful shops... And not a bank branch for bloody miles.
