US bombs Iranian Nuclear facilities
#1
Major escalation in that region that won't go unanswered by Iran. On a person note I'm just glad we have divested ourselves of fossil fuel powered vehicles and power tools.

Oh ffs - you fecking idiots! HOW can they be so damned stupid.

Our species is clearly idiots, & Trump is also an absolute prickle, devoid of compassion & common sense.
We're unbelievably skilled at coming up with better & better weapons with which to kill each other; we send our children out to kill their children so that some can become even wealthier & then wonder why we continue to have wars. We're idiots.

speak for yourself, the last thing the world needs is Iran with nuclear weapons
The problem with socialism is you eventually run out of other people’s money

Whatever happens, can't allow Iran to get nuclear weapons at any cost. Maybe this will kill two birds with one stone and disgrace Trump as well. He may be still going for his peace prize as well in the same day he is wrecking the White House Rose Garden which Melania stared decimating in his last term.

The bombers were en route this morning across the Pacific.

It seems strange to me. Iran has never invaded a neighbour. It has a bigger population than most, it has a history of never bending the knee, even to neighbours with nukes, determined not to allow others the same technology. Seems to me the US has become Netanyahu's puppet again, and MAGA will not like it.

Two weeks huh? Another lie.

Stupid man. He is sowing the seeds of his own downfall.

Does he not realise retribution need not necessarily be carried out militarily. The US has just drawn a target on its back for any disgruntled terrorist to exact revenge for an attack on an Arab country. The blame will lie squarely on Trumps head and revenge will come.

I do hope so - that might almost make this worthwhile. Almost.

Of course, but Dementia Donny can't see beyond his own ego, much less comprehend the fallout of his actions.

I don't understand the fascination with nuclear weaponry. None of them are going to use it, and yet they spend a fortune on the whole business, developing, holding, guarding, and all the prancing around they involve. And now millions more on making sure another country doesn't get them. All so they can sit on their stash and feel safe.

Bloody hell, it's like the seventies culture around penis extension sportscars we used to laugh about. The sooner we can develop a pill for broken egoes the better.

If Iran managed to make a nuclear warhead and assemble a delivery system they would immediately use it on Israel which is already nuclear armed.

My instagram feed this morning is full of posts from young people currently traveling in Iran. Some solo traveling on bikes, some in small groups with other young folk doing their OE. The images are incredible, of the hospitality they are receiving from Iranians, of the historical places, the points of interest, the incredible shopping mall that leaves every other world mall for dead, the sophistication of this enormous country, and the peacefulness of the life within it.

The Iran the media never show us.

Do you not remember the tv program with the Persians in it over in America, very amusing and not like one would expect, the main man was gay but completely switched on.

It's sounding like we can expect Iran to disrupt oil supplies out of the Persian Gulf by closing the Strait of Hormuz. Non-military retaliation but very effective. Out-thinking Donald rather than inviting a military confrontation.

Like I said initially, I'm appreciating the advantages of insulating ourselves from oil related economic hits thanks to moving away from fossil fuel dependency to a large degree. Smug mode engaged Tongue
