Are you an otrovert?

If you have a deep need for privacy & a strong aversion to following the herd, the answer might be yes.

in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)

Nah, I doubt you are brave enough for that. I doubt anyone is, lol. I try to avoid that experience myself.

I read that, and yes, most certainly me ! I hated and avoided all team sports and activities at school, and as an adult clubs and groups are something I don't do. As mentioned in the story, we do hang around with others when young, but it's still something we preferred not to do. The internet is good because we can interact with people without having to deal with them in person. I've just come back from my morning walk where I met with someone who is just like me, she avoids interacting with people and is quite isolated...so of course for some reason we see that in each and interact. She said a while ago that in one of her school reports (England) it was noted that she ''Never, ever, put her hand up in class.'' I like to be alone, but am never lonely...I don't need people.

Its odd isn't it, that some assume that if you live alone then you must be lonely. I also tend to keep in touch via the internet, but then my two closest friends both live in other parts of the country.
I've never been keen on sports either - its a closed book to me,& I'd rather it stays that way.

Perhaps most of us are slightly Otroverts to some degree..
