Tesla issues urgent recall for Powerwall 2 battery due to risk of fire

Is it coincidental that this recall applies to the previous model Powerwall 2 which has NMC battery chemistry but not the current Powerwall 3 which uses LFP batteries, which are slightly less energy dense but widely regarded as being safer particularly in terms of fire risk?

Let's hope the new ones are safer. Would be nice to see all this new battery powered stuff not catching on fire all the time!
