The 'problem' is that most of us know when we're being ripped off, & annoyingly for the greeders, tend to get quite annoyed.
Most of us would prefer a fairer society.

My local supermarket is run by a Korean couple, so...

Funny thing though. My energy bill has doubled in a year. My grocery bill is up by about 30%. Fortunately there is room in my budget, it just means less discretionary spending. I know who is responsible, my vote next year will reflect that.

Why the right wing seems to think they can run a country because they can add and subtract, as in accounting for money, beats me. Their basic understanding of what life is essentially about flabbergasts me. Most of them seem to be acting at the lowest possible level of sentience possible. heisenberg is operating at a low level in my opinion and seems to think he is on top of it all, Alice can barely use the language.

Our rates were up 25%, our insurance nearly doubled and YET inflation is only 3%. How do they cook those figures?

Inflation is about 25% if you go by the price increases in New World Waltham over the last year.
