He seems to have overstepped the mark this time, & some within his own party want him out. Some say its inevitable but its Boris so who knows.
Who thinks yes, who thinks no? I think he'll somehow cling on a bit longer.

My Whitehall staffer friend reckons Boris has been hanging on by his teeth since before the party scandal and he will go any day now.

He wont bugger off, he will cling to power and be controlling just like other PMs around the world.
Despite the high cost of living it remains popular

I am an optimist. I'm hoping he'll dig deep and find a shred of honour.

changing of the guard shouldnt be undertaken by the media and gossip
using scandal as catalyst for change is emotive and manipulative.
unchecked the frenzy will die when the next atrocity kicks off.
nothing to see here move along will win.

Um...its Boris.
He's a Tory.
Not convinced that he, or they, have much idea of honour - quite good at talking about it, but that seems to be as far as it goes.

I think it comes with being a politician; the ability to talk really well about virtually anything.

That's the one - lots of words while saying nothing much at all. I suspect they learn it in Poli-waffle school.

Boris Johnson has confirmed he attended the event, saying he was there for 25 minutes and “believed implicitly that this was a work event”.
Save it for the investigation Boris

25 minutes, just long enough to demolish a couple of bottles of bollinger and
snort a few rails.
nothing in it.
