"Not stranded." Clearly overstayers then....
Poor people, & yes, poor America.

SpaceX's Falcon 9 is one of the world's safest, most productive rockets. But now it's been grounded: A rare engine malfunction on July 11 prompted the US Federal Aviation Administration to initiate an investigation and halt all Falcon 9 flights until further notice.
July 25 (Reuters) - SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket has been cleared to return to space by the U.S. aviation regulator after it was grounded by a rare mid-flight failure, the Federal Aviation administration (FAA) said on Thursday.
It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

It must be terrifying for them, even with all of their training & experience this has to be scary.

Reportedly the astronauts are having a great time getting the opportunity to spend extra time in space.
Their main fear is whether or not they are forced to return on a spacecraft that's potentially unreliable.
There is already some rumour that NASA is in talks with SpaceX about sending up a crew dragon to return the crew, who knows if that eventuates, but time is running out to send them back on the starliner.
