The Stones
waiting on a friend One of my all time favourites, the video is great as well, stylish and ultra cool. "A smile relieves a heart that grieves" From the comments: "@richleonard55 8 months ago What a gorgeous solo from Sonny Rollins. I love the story behind this. Jagger wanted to ask Rollins, probably the top jazz sax man of the time, to put a solo on the song. Charlie Watts - a serious jazz fan - said 'he'll never do it'. But Jagger asked, and Rollins indeed said no. But Rollins' wife persuaded him. When the saxman came into the studio, Jagger was nervous about working with a jazz great, and asked Rollins how he wanted to go about it. Rollins said, you stay in the studio with me, you dance and I'll take my cue for what to play from your moves. Some kind of genius there! If only someone had video'd it. Years later, Rollins heard something on the radio, liked the sax playing, and wondered who it was. Eventually he discovered it was him, on one of those Rolling Stones songs! "

Sarah McLachlan - In the arms of an angel
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SiylvmFI_8 Spend all your time waiting for that second chance For the break that will make it ok There's always some reason to feel not good enough And it's hard at the end of the day I need some distraction oh beautiful release Memories seep from my veins They may be empty and weightless and maybe I'll find some peace tonight In the arms of an Angel fly away from here From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie You're in the arms of an Angel; may you find some comfort here So tired of the straight line, and everywhere you turn There's vultures and thieves at your back The storm keeps on twisting, you keep on building the lies That you make up for all that you lack It don't make no difference, escaping one last time It's easier to believe In this sweet madness, oh this glorious sadness That brings me to my knees In the arms of an Angel far away from here From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie In the arms of an Angel; may you find some comfort here You're in the arms of an Angel; may you find some comfort here
