It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

And that's precisely why Trump said drill, baby, drill!
He is going to flood the market with cheap oil, which we all will benefit from in our pockets.
The cost of living is insane, oil prices affect everything we buy, especially food.
Americans will be very happy to see their economy rebound and the rest of the world including us will benefit too.
Another benefit is it will affect Russias war in Ukraine as they are reliant on oil and driving prices down along with their sanctions will hurt Putin big time.

Oh well then; that's all that matters isn't it, spending up large while the planet dies. What could possibly go wrong... Dodgy

Yes it will - might not be habitable for life to exist, but certainly the planet will keep on rockin along. Venus is doing very well after all isn't it?
This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.

Venus never had humans burning fossil fuels and we still dont know what caused the runaway greenhouse effect there, or if that planet ever had a habitable atmosphere, what we do know is that the chemical composition is radically different, sulfuric acid among other things.
Likely that planet is more geologically active and has many more volcanoes spewing this stuff into the atmosphere, it also has a far denser atmosphere than earth which also would contribute to this, along with being much closer to the sun is a recipe for disaster.

So what are you basing your opinions on then? Just theories you're pulling out of thin air it would appear.
