Trump's progress so far

Great synopsis of Trump's actions since taking office. Paywalled so use RemovePaywall.com if required.

His ignorance is worrying, & could be dangerous.

And not just for his country but also for the rest of the world; you have to wonder just what it might take before someone close to him steps in to stop him.
in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)

That is exactly why Trump has dumped most of the existing executive staff and replaced them with his 'buddies'. He is moving to protect himself from rebellion and in doing so removing as many checks and balances on his activities as he can.

Even so there surely has to come a point when those buddies somehow become more interested in protecting their own  derriere than in supporting the Trump creature.

That, or soemone outside his circle takes things into their own hands, in the interests of their country - or the world.

Whatever personality disorder Trump suffers from (malignant narcissism is the obvious one, but borderline personality disorder also seems plausible) he obviously needs constant chaos and will do anything to create it and justify it.   I reckon all of the tech bros will be thrown under a bus before the end of the year, probably starting with Musk, the most presumptuous of them.

His early years were very formative, as they are for all of us. And if the books about those years are right, his would qualify as abusive. Which could explain his personality and his behaviour.

Those of us who enjoyed happy childhoods don't know how lucky we are...

In his own mind he knows that he is guilty of so many transgressions that he has to keep up a constant state of turmoil and action so that he can't think of all the awful things he has done in the past and to him it feels as if the state of turmoil also exists for everyone else as well and that is actually starting to take place as we all know.
It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

If he continues in the same vein then I think eventually he will have to be removed, probably by his former supporters. That, or he removes his supporters first.

Which is likely to be chaotic, either way.

I thought he might be thinking this:

has he fired anyone yet?
This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.

Yeah...good luck with that one - although I wouldn't be too surprised to see him try to change that rule so he can run for President again.

He doesn't seem concerned with appearences now; that's about as blatant as it gets.

Angry

I hope those who say that it violates law & has to provide their reasons within 30 days are right.

He's doing so well. Federal employees sacked without notice, courts finding against him, Canada and Mexico trade wars, Panama about to be invaded, international aid programmes ended, stock market shaken not stirred, and eggs are still too expensive.

His God saved him for this?

Wouldn't you think that, given his apparently unhealthy diet, he might be due a heart attack or something... Dodgy

Trump is just a useful idiot. He can easily be replaced if necessary so the bigger plan can continue. This post I made a while back should have made that clear.

He's probably lying about his diet too, and secretly hoes into spinach and lentil salad when he's supposedly taking a nap.
