I did a long time ago when my laptop died and I opted for a cheapie. No, it wasn't ideal. But it did give me time to save up for a real one, lol...

I decided to buy the one at PB Tech as it was on a sale and looks like a runout model. Also ordered a two external drive enclosure for the other two HDs in the old PC.

I've been using this PC for about 56 days now and no problems. Added an external 3.5 inch Unitek twin drive bay and Asus external Blu-ray drive. Was way smaller than I thought but the upside is it has heaps of USB ports all type 3 except for a USB C port. The only odd thing I got was when I went to install my 2019 copy of Nero Burning Rom and the installed went to Chinese. Lucky it was easy to navigate as the icons are the same s the English version. When it ran up it was all in English. Weird. Had a look at he settings and nothing Chines in them.
My old PC was Win 11 23h2 and all the network shares worked fine. This one is 24h2 and none of the network shares worked . couldn't see another PC on the network until I made their sharing for a private network. Still can't get the shares on my two Linux PCs to work. I can try to map them but I can't login . says user name / password not correct. Even change the settings in the policy editor to allow anonymous login. Work in progress.
