You can never have enough...
(Yesterday, 11:25 AM)Oh_hunnihunni Wrote: I was in a class once with a medical engineer, who had some interesting stories about theatres. And the sounds and smells.

I was offered an epidural for my first hip replacement but having had a c section under one I have no desire to ever repeat the awake theatre experience. Besides, these days the drugs are so good...

I had an epidural when I had my tummy done but I dont remember a thing, apart from when they sat me up  when they had finished lol.. IM guessing I had something else to make me sleep at the same time.

Hopefully they will do the same this coming time too.. But I know to query when they give me the warfarin again this time, since they messed it up last time.

I was awake when they took my ganglion out of my wrist, they wouldnt let me watch tho..

All the beeps and machines actually help me sleep which is good.

Curtains sewn and hung up. Broken pair of plyers in the process.. And I was only cutting curtain wire.. Thank goodness I have more lol..

Didnt know I was that strong lol.
Big Grin They told me I couldn't, so I did.!! Big Grin

I intended to watch that doco last night but watching Moana there were a couple of ads for another doco on directly after Te Ao about Alien Weaponry, a Kiwi metal band who are absolutely brilliant despite being kids. It was really interesting, followed them to a metal gig in Slovenia (I think it was Slovenia) & one or two others including one here with the CHCH Symphony orchestra, which didn't happen due to covid.
I zipped back in ads & managed to catch a bit of the Body thing, with luck I'll get to see it next week, but I wasn't going to miss Alien Weaponry. I hope they have a surgery on it next time, those are really interesting.

Did dreaded shoppingf - it rained on the way there but not much & cleared soon after...of course it damn well did.

Good luck with that pattern Mica, it looks tricky.
in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)

I knew our living room was toasty in the winter being north facing, but 42 degrees is a tad over the top lol.  Might have to open some windows.

Alien Weaponry is a great band!  Didn't realise it was on last night, might have to find it on demand.

That twist looks a bit challenging, mica.  Good luck with it Smile

I KNOW!! They're seriously good; the doco showed one or two bits from they were really young, playing guitar & just learning & even then it was plain they're seriously talented. I think there's a maori+ channel which may have it, haven't checked.
