No matter what your personal view of her is you can't deny she has more intestinal fortitude than the spineless PM we have at present and was far more in touch with the pulse of this country when she was leading it and in light of her Gaza comment she still is.

There's also the matter of Israel allegedly holding around 10,000 Palestinian prisoners including children in some pretty dire conditions. The Israelis continue to accuse Hamas of crimes of hostage taking but are dismissive of their own brutalities.

You DO understand that Jacinda Ardern isn't actually responsible for the situation there,do you...?



If it was up to me, Netanyahu & his govt & Hamas leaders would be arrested to face war crimes charges.

And Israeli & Palestinian members of peace groups which have been attempting to bring about peace would be given help to rebuild Palestine, (with Israel paying the majority of the costs) & set up a two state solution.

It should have been harsher than it was; why do the right wing types believe they can live in a country and reap all the benefits but when it comes to sacrifice for the sake of the welfare of the group all they want to do is as they please?
