Jacinda interview on The Daily Show
#21
If you go to the ultimate end of left wing you basically become Jesus, trying to make a world of compatible people suitable for everyone so they all get on, (impossible) but if you go to the extreme of right wing you turn into a despot and become like trump or even worse.

Right wing extreme capitalists become so tyrannical that it's impossible to believe that they are of sound mind and body hence all the left wing criticism of these born again Hitlers etc. cf (2025) Peter Thiel like fascists and those who seem to want to spend their unthinking lives playing the game set up by businessmen to gather more and more money to the detriment of all other goals and buy more crap with it.
It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

point 1 ..........sure

point 2.......... some are more equal than others depending on how far to the left you are apparently im a right wing autistic shitposting troll
well you have to admit some of your posts could be construed as shitposting and trolling ( admittedly your definition of trolling is probably very different to ours) - the rest of that is just someone's opinion, obviously no-one can really know who any particular user really is.

Do you know what simile, metaphor and hyperbole mean, heisenberg, do you realize that literal is a very simplistic way of looking at the world?

I think that one could be summarized as misinformation, on the basis that her words were taken out of context.

Another way of saying what she was really saying?
You have less rights if you remained unvaccinated than those folks that chose to be vaccinated, yep, yep...

Just as is the case for:
prisoners:  incarcerated vs not incarcerated
criminals: facing justice vs having your freedom
bad drivers:  Accumulate demerit points vs have a clean driving record
Fraudsters:  Bad credit rating vs  good credit rating

Not really classes of people as such is it? or if it is there are literally hundreds of different 'classes'.
It is simply people that abide by the rules of society get to live their lives with relative normality, and those that don't have to face the consequences of their actions...
This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.

The cookers seem to have conveniently forgotten that the government was doing its level best to limit the spread of a novel virus through this country's population at the time that the interview you've quoted refers to with no pre-planned strategy to guide them.

Would you have sooner had a situation unfold here with freezer trucks used to contain morgue overflow like what happened in the US & UK? Or a barely coping health sector to be pushed past breaking point at the time it was most crucial for it care for NZers?

And those consequences ran the risk of placing the population in general at serious harm.

NZ was a ship at risk of sinking and the bulkhead doors were closed to prevent us going down and the rest issued life jackets. Of course there would be people disadvantaged. Trapped behind the locked doors in my analogy, but that's just what happens in an emergency and if you were in the wrong place at the wrong time that's tough and similarly if you were too precious to don a life jacket.

Probably because all the information required of her was able to be ascertained via video link and if she was to attend the inquiry in person it would have turned into a performance piece for a bunch of jackass cookers.

No hidden economics as you suggest either. Billions of dollars doesn't go far in a health crisis as dire as the one we were facing with COVID.

Put up some facts to support your accusations. Your piss biscuit routine is wearing very thin.
