You miss the point though. I am really far left on some issues, and deeply conservative on others. Saving the planet for instance, v the death penalty for human traffickers and child murdering perverts. For instance,  I put the value of innocents far higher than that of corrupted megamaniacs and would guard them accordingly.

I don't think any of us here are all extreme far left. I think that's your personal biases colouring your judgement.

Total bollocks. There are quite a number of people both here & around the world, who've been wrongfully imprisoned. Sadly, no justice system is perfect.

I can't agree with the death penalty though, not even for the worst of the worst.
Lifetime imprisonment is better in my view; the removal of even a tiny shred of hope for the course of their lives.

Have they really? I am 73 in a few weeks. I remember thirty  years ago.  Good years. Fifty years ago even, not so good years. Sixty years ago, really really not good years. Certainly our social rules have changed, but good and bad haven't.

And while I am glad I don't have to face growing up in this time, this world, I think on the whole it is a better one - at least here, and for women - than the one I did grow up in.

Which might be why quite a few men think otherwise.
