hahaha you have gone and done it now, Lilith! I think that pet milk has had the lactose taken out so is gentler on our furry friend's tummies.

Ive often wondered about the Pet Milk.
I might get some for Madam for when I get home from surgery. She doesn't drink much at all, so it might tempt her. I had two of my tuna rissoles / patties/ what ever you call them. Cooked them in the glass bowl cooker. Took a bit longer but ohhh soo yummy. And better than frying them. ![]() ![]()

Day started with rain but afternoon sunny with stiff breeze even in Manawatu.
Glad your kids coming home KM good support for you too. Sorry MrK unable to walk. Take it out on the weeds. Been up the line for my sewing group which is always good day. The pet milk (cat) is indeed lactose free whole fat milk and most have amino acid taurine some have minerals and omega 3s. Its a treat balanced cat food and water should meet all their dietary requirements. But its nice to give our furry friends a treat. Busy day tomorrow, appointments and meeting so no sewing It's fun to have fun but you have to know how

More pots done, I even sorted out some seedling punnets for your seeds km, but you were so generous with them I am going to have to find a seedling tray so as not to waste them! Got a lot done this weekend, but outside, not in...
Bad hunni, but happy nevertheless!

morning ladies
![]() Indoors can wait for the wet days, OHH ![]() ![]() It's going to be a busy week with appointments every day and family coming and going. Our neighbour returned our slow cooker yesterday along with some baking as a thank you. She asked me if I was going to move once MrK dies and that was a firm, no. No big decisions will be made for a year, at least. Phew, she said, we like living next to you lol. While I was talking to MrK on the phone yesterday afternoon, the neighbour's two cats decided to investigate the property. The have obviously figured out the Furry One could be no more, but as I watched, they slunk through the gate (yes, slunk!) together and sniffed all around under the windows right up to the outdoor furniture. The older cat turned quickly giving the younger cat a scare and omg I couldn't stop laughing. He must have leapt a good meter off the ground. They both decided that was enough exploring and risk taking for now and slunk back along the bux hedge and through the gate again. I know they will be frequent visitors once they become braver and I think I had better lock the doggy door. Dishes to do then out in the garden for another hour before my first appointment of the week and our daughter arrives. Enjoy your day ![]() Life is a one time offer, use it well

Morning everyone.
The sun is out, but quite still out there. Ohh those cats are making the most of it KM. They will realise its safe now. Totally with you about not making any big changes for a year. That's a good amount of time to get to the starting to feel stronger stage. Sounds like you have lovely Neighbours and that will help too. House inspection this morning. Im not worried about it at all. Then I may pop the road and get another key and some potatoes. Ill see how Im feeling. My left hand is being a right pest. Hoping its just arthritis, but its reminding me how it felt, only worse when I had a ganglion on the same place. And lifting a big bag of potatoes might not be the best idea. Im giving up buying frozen chips in favour of making my own and cooking them in the glass air cooker with a tiny spray of rice bran oil. Need my secretary hat on today too. Have a good day everyone ![]() ![]()

Well, that's a few bits and bobs done, amazing what you can get done in an hour with no interruptions.
I haven't bought bagged chips for years and make my own. I also use baking spray for everything, even spraying the inside of the slow cooker to help with clean up. I also use baking paper a lot on trays and roasting dishes. Life is a one time offer, use it well

Yeah Ive learnt if I spray the slow cooker bowl before I make my rice its wayyy easier to clean. I brought rice bran spray oil for the first time a couple of weeks ago. You cant taste anything. So a good swap, and I think it has a higher heat level too. Half the secretary job done.. ![]() ![]()

Good morning.
Grey day so far but not meant to rain. School run done and washing out. A lovely weekend away with friends and family, nice to see the Waikato green and lush as we drove across to the West Coast. Lots of of silage being made and maize planted ... can't take the county out of the now townie, lol. You sound so in control KM with all that you have on your plate, go you. I have mixed feelings with neighbourhood cats visiting and tend not to encourage (ie petting them) knowing what surprises they tend to leave in my vege patch! I have lots of vege and flower seedlings waiting to plant out. Perfect day for it but first to empty out the large pots and replenish with potting mix for the flowers. I like red and white petunias for the Christmas season and have blue salvia for the other side of the house. Better get cracking with my plan. Enjoy the day all

Really? So, if I got some, Tatty could get buzzed?
Now there's a thought...

That way Madam wont be used to it and nag her Aunty Erin for it lol.. Does anyone know what the shelf life is once it is open? She really is the bossiest cat I've ever had...I'm starting to understand why her previous humans legged it to the UK... ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm so sorry that you're having such a difficult time, I wish you a cyber hug as I'm sure we all do. Sweetie darling no. 2 called in earlier, he's still trying to organise stuff for the extended family chap, his neice & sister have at last managed to get here from the other side of the world, (though his sister is also quite old now) so that will ease the pressure on him a bit. One problem is not knowing his password for his computer, because there's likely to be lots of the information needed on it.
