It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

China should call in their debt, then they would own the USA.

All in good time.

I don't know why they haven't already, they must be fairly pissed off with silly Trump tariffs and his posturing.
I believe it was tariffs that brought on the Great Depression. Trump is locked into the early 50's in his mindset I think. As America bounced out of the 2nd WW with excess manufacturing power and having won the war went on to promote the consumer economy with teenagers and children targeted with new products, a time of great optimism, I remember it well. Mum and Dad were so happy, the first big bummer was the assassination of the Kennedy brothers in the 60's and USA not supporting Britain in the Suez crisis which eventually resulted in very high oil and petrol prices.
I think China has already called in large amounts of debt in the past, they already own a large amount of real estate in USA especially New York.
I think they owned the Empire State Building at one stage but it's not as valuable as it might seem since with the advent of modern computing office space is not as important as it used to be since the employees don't have to be clumped together anymore to function efficiently.
With incompetent Trump in charge it might time to just wait and then buy up at really cheap prices when he collapses the economy.
