An application by an eligible person for registration of the person’s nominated sex must— (a)  specify male, female, or any other sex or gender specified in regulations for the purposes of this paragraph as the person’s nominated sex

Since the Bill doesn't become law for a year or so AIUI, maybe the regulations are yet to be made?

I know you're itching to make suggestions...
