Not so much due to the 'diner' but to the use of the term 'wait staff'.
Apparently, it is now far too difficult to use words of more than one or at most, two syllables, even if that means mutilating an existing word to do it - I give you 'hospo', a new term meaning (probably)  hospitality.
No clue as to what  an ex 'burrito artist' might be, but then they're Australian... Rolleyes
I imagine a "burrito artist" has the same level of qualifications as a Subway "sandwich artist".
  Yeah...absolute minutes of study required! Big Grin
in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)
