You have to wonder whether his mental health has been affected by it. He doesn't appear to be the world's most well balanced human.
He has publicly said he has Asperger's Syndrome/Autism. Just means he sees the world differently to most people. Like Greta Thunberg he uses it as a superpower which allows him to innovate at a very much higher level than the average human.
