I think that's a problem for this govt. People tend to forget or ignore that the present situation has developed over several decades, & can't be fixed quickly.
Maybe reminders about past idiocies from various govts might be useful in the media, prior to the next election.
in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)
