Well my lambs are only selling for $150 each yet a leg of lamb at the supermarket will cost upwards of $90 and remember there are four on each animal.

Firearms she took the easy option and went after law abiding and legally licenced owners only and not any of the illegally owned guns used almost weekly by the gangs and remember it was the police who failed all of the law by not following the laws guidelines when issuing a certain nutter with a licence.

She also kept the borders open until after her photo opportunity so letting Covid get a toehold.

Those who know me from the other pub know that I'm usually a Labour supporter but she failed to impress me with anything she did apart from all the hugs and photo ops she did those real well and failed at just about everything else. How can you lead a country when you have never had a real job and so have no life experience to call on?

From what I can gather $150 is at the high end of historical prices for lamb isn't it

The firearms issues is difficult but I imagine the logic was something like illegal firearms are usually stolen from legal owners so all firearms of the type,  legal or otherwise, should be included in the buy back...  Obviously though it is easier for police to track down the legal owners of them that have been 'tardy'

The more I think about the PMs situation over the last few years, I think she was damned either way.  There was just no way to keep everyone happy over covid response.  Some say to early, some too late.  I'm with you in that she was too late locking down and covid got a toe hold (not sure I agree it was from waiting for a photo OP though), but then there are the thousands who missed out on getting back and where locked out, who were less than happy. Damned either way...  

Same with length of lockdowns, mandatory vaccinations for specific groups and a myriad of other decisions... and this all completely ignores the impact of the idiot covid deniers, anti vaxxers and misogynistic woman haters.

on the whole I suspect she did the best anyone could under the circumstances, although I question whether a male PM would have been subjected to the same vitriol that the PM was...  This last few years is the saddest indictment on New Zealander society -  as a people we showed our true colours...
