Its sometimes hard to gauge the support of Putin in Russia because they deliberately bring in paid supporters at their rallys and those interviewed in their media are clearly shills, but there is some amount of support of Putin that remains as there is a certain level of anti-west sentiment over there, but it looks like its less than what many think when you take into account the number who have left or attempting to leave the country.

Yes, I think I read somewhere that its mainly older people who support Putin; younger ones are less likely to. You have to feel sorry for those who are against this war - anyone protesting is locked up as fast as possible.
