We really do need to tackle the problem of violence, whoever is responsible & preferably soon, find ways of preventing it.
Yeah I suspect the white cis-male comment came out in the 'heightened state of emotion' simply because she was being targeted by one in the form of Mr/Ms Loonytunes. When you're staring one in the face who is presumably harassing you in some form or another, it's not a big leap...
Under the circumstances I don't see why politicians should be judged any differently from the rest of the population...
As I said those in that situation tend to tell what they actually feel. The questioning by the Counterspin person is a red herring because she never answered the question put to her - she just went off on what was quite a rant.
