I cannot see it being ever stupid to make a statement of fact. No matter who chooses to be offended by it. Or take it personally.

It was not a statement of fact.  Her comment was the white cis men (dumb term) were responsible for ALL the violence.  That statement is an absolute lie.

And let's put aside the " I was just hit by a motorcyclist " lie as well.  That occurred THREE HOURS PRIOR.

I'm thinking I could potentially take days to get the 'hit by a motorcycle' out of my system. You expect someone to be chipper after three hours?
