Could also be what's called Ghost Windows There are some fixes in my earlier post, but one of the main causes is a process called "MiniSearchHost.exe" Disable it appears to fix, its a known problem.
Could be an update causing problems with some software that's installed on all the computers.
Upgrades = Old bugs replaced with new Bugs.
