Yeah quite possible, ive heard a bit about COVID being linked to shingles, which would make sense as the chickenpox virus lives in your spine like herpes.
COVID must be able to reactivate the virus in some way, typically because your immune system is under load i guess.
Shingles is caused by the Herpes zoster virus. Recurrence of shingles is also one of the commonly recorded side effects of COVID vaccination, and I've read in the past that the vaccines for each of these viruses should be separated to limit overloading the immune system.
