Here in the Naki we have seen lower rainfall than usual over the past few months, and warmer than normal winter temperatures, so our difficulty is in scheduling spring plantings at this stage.

Also in contrast to last year when we started feeding out silage to our beef cattle in March grass growth this year continued well into early winter with feeding out only starting about a month ago.
