Working for families is failing

WFF failed at the point you turned middle income families into beneficiaries. Rather than simply giving tax breaks to those people the Clark Labour Government instead decided to keep that tax and then give it back as a benefit. And National were just as bad in keeping it though by the time they got back in power there was virtually no ways to get rid of it. Not without being thrown out 3 years later and of course at the start of one of the worst financial crisis the world had seen.

So now we are stuck with it.
