It can all be traced back to the imposition of Neo Liberalism in thos country,with no warning & worse, no change of direction by either Labour or National when it became clear how disastrous it was.
WFF was a response which hasn't helped to any great extent; too little & too late. If that lot in the Beehive could manage to get back in touch with reality, in particular the day to day struggle many are now having to cope with, that would be a good start.
