There are some very gullible, unbalanced people out there who are ready to believe virtually anything. Some old style, 'keep women in their place' & keep yourself 'pure' by doing lots of exercise & praying frequently, Christianity.
Unbelievably there are even those who can manage to believe that 'those wicked jewish people are in an alliance with those wicked muslim people' & hell bent on taking over the world, by somehow having spectacularly large numbers of children. This despite the centuries of discord, violence & problems between the two religions.
The ignorance of history is astounding.
in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)
