Auckland has at least 50 times more suburban trees per acre than it had when I was a nipper.

I went through Otara a while ago, used to know it well back in the '70's. I was like - WTF !!! I'm lost ! Who put all these bloody big trees everywhere ? I guess they were little shrubs when I was in my teens and 20's, and I couldn't navigate by line of sight like I used to.
