The reason the minors are attracting support is the majors aren't.

Those concerned about the environment gravitate to The Greens due to lack of real policies in that regard from anyone else.
NZ First are giving those living in the past the promise of shutting out immigrants.
ACT have a generous crop of wealth focussed followers.
A few disillusioned stragglers for TOP, Te Pati Maori, Freedoms and other 'also rans'.

National are relying on those who trust their unsupported promises and Labour is struggling to convince NZ that 'we don't know how lucky we are'. October 15th is looking like being the start of a turbulent time for Aotearoa.

Winston always keeps the govt honest and held to account.
I wouldn't be surprised if NZF actually polls much higher on election day, along with the rest of the minor parties.
The green seem to be the highest polling minor party unfortunately, they are no longer a bunch of good well meaning hippies, but radical left borderline communists.
The fact is that more than half of kiwis are unhappy with the direction this country is running, and that says alot I'm these polls.
Jim Anderton also had a huge amount of respect for Winston.
