Do they still run ferries to Devonport?
i believe our "service" to Birkenhead stopped for "training". No wonder they are having trouble if they are using trains as their guide, trying to reverse a string of ferries could be a bit different to the way trains do it. Also, when the railways started running their first interisland ferry from Wgtn to Picton, there was talk of permanently employing a worker to keep updating the sign posts on the Picton - Blenheim road to reflect the continually shortening distance between the terminal towns due to the Railway's percussive parking procedures steadily forcing the wharf Southwards. That's not a good example to follow.
