Do you mean spam emails when you say "ad" emails or are we talking advertising in the email client itself ie the new Outlook mail.?

One option is to just the gmail web interface, it has a pretty darn good spam filter, and if you also have an adblocker like ublock origin it will take care of the page adverts as well
