I haven't been entirely safe on the road, certainly a danger to myself, but hardly ever to other people. But I realise that is not the way to do it, and teaching young people how to drive - before that actually get in a car, and all the way to getting a license is a good thing. Sure, we got away without learning how to drive, or about sex, but I think guidance from an early age is obvious.
As well as learning about sex behind the bike sheds at school, owning a car was the next stage in obtaining a masters degree! The ability to drive was necessary for the extended education,
