Don't necessarily agree with that, denying people the right to represent based on a mental health or physical disability seems like a slippery (and non-inclusive) slope.  Even a conviction doesn't necessarily exclude you from representing the people in NZ, I believe only if it's a jail term of two years or more...

Yep, & it would be a reason rather than an 'excuse' if it was used. 


Just looked & while MS can cause problems & side effects of various sorts it doesn't specify shoplifting, obviously.

Its a very odd situation & not made easier by the media constantly drawing attention to it but with little or no detail simply because its the thin season for news, while having to also be cautious they don't defame her in case of legal repercussions.
in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)
