US is on the brink of Civil war

Borders are inaginary boundaries drawn up by human beings to prevent other human beings from enjoying the same benefits they do. So much for America singing 'Give me your tired, your poor Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free The wretched refuse of your teeming shore Send these the homeless tempest-tost to me… '

Land of the free, nope. Land of the privileged few who exploit the rest.

That's all very well and said, but how does that help the US?
All these illegal immigrants are getting welfare packages at the expense of the rest of the population.
Their own people are in desperate need of welfare not to mention many other social issues the country faces.
I'm afraid the US is beyond repair. Trump won't be enough to fix it either, it's a real mess over there.
I've got a friend who has left the US and come here to get away from the dramas over there. He has applied for NZ residency and he tells me the only solution to fix that country is to nuke it and start over. That's pretty sad.

Trump could well be the catalyst to a significant social upheaval and change in the US, but the solution to it, he is not.  The subsequent rebuilding will need much calmer and clearer minds...
