One of my all time favourites, the video is great as well, stylish and ultra cool.

What a gorgeous solo from Sonny Rollins. I love the story behind this. Jagger wanted to ask Rollins, probably the top jazz sax man of the time, to put a solo on the song. Charlie Watts - a serious jazz fan - said 'he'll never do it'. But Jagger asked, and Rollins indeed said no. But Rollins' wife persuaded him. When the saxman came into the studio, Jagger was nervous about working with a jazz great, and asked Rollins how he wanted to go about it. Rollins said, you stay in the studio with me, you dance and I'll take my cue for what to play from your moves. Some kind of genius there! If only someone had video'd it.
Years later, Rollins heard something on the radio, liked the sax playing, and wondered who it was. Eventually he discovered it was him, on one of those Rolling Stones songs! "

in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)
