Just installed W1124H2 ( Pro) on a non compliant Hardware ( thanks Rufus)  ( update due to be pushed out as of now ->>)

It breaks all shared folders that are not password protected.  Any shares that are pass worded work fine, but there are many people whom set it up so a NAS doesn't need a password. Sorry wont work any more just a warning about unsecure etc    Article Describing

The "Workarounds" MS post don't work, including these Microsoft work around

Anyone find a solution -- much apricated -- In mean time still  looking  Confused Dodgy

the workarounds seem to refer to windows 11 as the server (ie password protected sharing turned off, everyone permissions), overriding the default to allow guest access.  I imagine in this situation win 11 both sides can authenticate using the SMB signing referred to.

If I read it correctly the real problem is if a windows 11 client is connecting to an old NAS box that doesn't support the SMB signing
This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.
