Actually, that Statement about auto-installing is False. Got two computers here, both with 24H2, and for recall to work it requires Copilot. If you don't allow copilot to run, guess what - Recall cant work either. So cant turn off recall since its not there.

Neither of the computers have recall installed, and they are direct downloads from MS. One is a fresh install ( ISO from MS, the other an upgrade from 23H2), one has an older CPU. While I did enable Copilot, there is still no sign of recall.

It's a LOT of scaremongering -- have a read, especially the section relating to Saving snapshots   --   Recall

If and when it turns up on 24H2 I'll let you know if it's trying to send out data, as the Eset Security firewall set to interactive is excellent - NOTHING is allowed out unless I let it. Big Grin
Upgrades = Old bugs replaced with new Bugs.
