Oh noes! Dear me, how sad, never mind. I'm starting to feel quite optimistic. Do you think the bish might be encouraged to join in the fun? Mind you, he might have to do so from prison. What a thought.
Make that a lot optimistic.
Jeez...I thought it was just me!

Do our leaders not understand that a haka is a passionate expression of emotion, not necessarily a war dance, not necessarily an aggressive move. If it was why would we see it at funerals? At welcomes? At celebratory greetings to heroes?
Why should an emotional, passionate response to a proposed piece of legislation that is designed to rewrite what is to many of us a sacred document be ridiculed and humphed at by a bunch of old white guys in suits just because their own ignorance lets them see a challenge as illegitimate?
The sooner this corrupt, out of touch, elderly wannabe statesmen go back to where they came from the better. If they are not prepared to listen to the people they were elected to represent, they have no place in government.
Very much agree - there was absolutely NO need for those comments, & presumably those making them can't possibly be that ill informed, which really shows the comments to be what they are; spiteful attempts at wielding power over those who are standing for what they believe in, & perhaps a smidgeon of jealousy, given how well received & supported the Hikoi has been.
in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)
