Morning everyone,
I slept in which is rare. but I think cos it wasnt hot and I was tired. So the washing is still working. I dont hear the beeps as its at the other end of the house.
I haven't read since MrP died. Im not sure why.
And talking of reading , I am giving my friend my Enid Blyton collection, minus a few Im keeping. She has a Library in her house. And now she has two grandies, I have decided it can be their insurance policy. Yes I could probably get good money for them. But I feel passed down the kids can enjoy them when old enough and also giggle cos they are already older than Granny. And then one day they can sell it if needed. The boy especially loves being read to.
I applaud anyone that encourages reading and education. Its one thing that MrP and I disagreed on. Schooling IS one of the most important things you can encourage your kids to do. Its a part of the reason I didn't want to have kids with him. It would have created arguments and I wasn't willing to subject kids to that.
Was talking to Dianne last night. I have found a home for her Cat. Not her cat, it made itself at home at her place. But its causing friction with her two dogs..
Created friction on FB as I commented what the Cat Colony person had told her, and then she tried to deny it. I deleted the posts in the end. I dont listen to liars. so hopefully Puss, as she has called her will be all sorted today. And the dogs wont be teased.
More work in the bedrooms today.. I've decided not to go to the home tomorrow. I need to get this done. Dianne wont be there either. I can only do so much in the day.
Its quite grey out. No wonder the Neighbour has already done their lawns. The new battery lawnmower was so the kids would do the lawn. The mother does them. Never seen the husband do a thing outside.
