They are used by new entrants when learning letter size. Now is the time to look as school stationery is out ready for school. I love fountain pens. But being a leftie, I had to modify how I sat and where my arm was as I would drag the ink across the page. I'm also from the generation who learned cursive but my sister, who is 18 months younger than me, missed out.
We've been out for lunch with family to celebrate MrK's twin sisters 80th birthday. There was an elderly lady who asked me if we were a gardening group and I said, no, we're all family and we're celebrating an 80th. She said she was 86 and aiming for 100! She also said how lovely it was to see a family debating (we had a rather heated debate on politics with MrK's cousin) and still laughing at the end. I said, well, he knows I'm right
