Yes it will - might not be habitable for life to exist, but certainly the planet will keep on rockin along. Venus is doing very well after all isn't it?

Venus never had humans burning fossil fuels and we still dont know what caused the runaway greenhouse effect there, or if that planet ever had a habitable atmosphere, what we do know is that the chemical composition is radically different, sulfuric acid among other things.
Likely that planet is more geologically active and has many more volcanoes spewing this stuff into the atmosphere, it also has a far denser atmosphere than earth which also would contribute to this, along with being much closer to the sun is a recipe for disaster.
