Its a Hard one Hunni
If she ends up in hospital they will assess her again. and if you can somehow give them info as well they will have her put into a home.
Its for her own safety. Keep a diary of anything odd that she does too. Saves storing it in your head.
It was the Hospital but with my requests that MrP was put into a home.
I have FINISHED the sewing room. Well I haven't vacuumed. Ill do that tomorrow. It still looks really full but once Ive taken a couple of banana boxes to the oppy, probably Tuesday cos they are closed on Monday of course.
And I have a bag of rubbish I need to put out next week. And Ill move the emptied crates into the other room with the others in there it will look better.
Carmel, a new lady at the home with dementia, is a lovely sweet woman like Bobbie, was sitting with us yesterday as we talked about the food. She was amazed when we told her of what we all took in.
I mentioned the cheese scones and her face Lit up and replied with Plum Jam of course. I said No I had strawberry at the time.
Anyway I've just text David and asked if he would care to share his Plums Ill make jam for the ladies, and to have with the scones, on Friday.. And Im happy to make some for him if he finds he cant keep up with work and all the fruit he is going to have.
I still remember my first jam I made at home. It was peach jam and I also made jelly from the stones and skins.
When we made it at school Im afraid I told the teacher if she attempted to jar my friends and my jam, it would break the jar. She took the jar out of the oven then started talking. I said the jar will be too cold now and break.. Ohh Nooo it will be fine she said... Yes it broke. She went red in the face... That was the end of our guaranteed to set Blackberry and apple jam.
She didn't like me much after that lol.
Nearly half way on the iris window. Getting to the pretty blues etc now. My friend in Taranaki is doing the same one and we both started in the same place. Bottom right corner and we work across and up as we go. That way your hand doesn't get stuck on the sticky picture as you do it lol
Its just started raining lightly.
