morning ladies 
We had some heavy wind and rain overnight, expecting more rain today. There was a tornado at Mangawhai early this morning. That would be pretty scary.
The Furry One hates water; he won't even dash under the hose when he wants to get from A to B and the sprinkler is in the way. The Young Upstart has a lot to learn as all pups do. But she is so willing and knows to sit, come and the other basic commands already. And I think she will be good for my sister and force her to be more active.
Housework for me today, might as well make the most of the wet day and do the inside stuff.
I've started working on a cloth for the bedside table in the spare room. The sun streams in that end of the house and the bedside furniture in two rooms are being bleached. It's a crewel design but I'll be using regular floss as I don't have any fabric heavy enough for crewel wool. I'm just tacking the design at the moment.
