Hypocrisy at its finest -

The government - of whatever flavour - SHOULD pick up the tab. If children need feeding, they must be fed. The question is who should be making the food - and for me that is a local matter, for so many reasons. Local means quality control is local along with responsibility for crap offerings. Air miles, in a green sense as well as a delivery issue. Employment, be it paid or volunteer and the downstream of that one - where are any profits going, or rather should there be any profits made? Isn't profiting in this instance taking food out of the mouths of the kids?

Why is an international corporation being allowed to profit from feeding our kids? Can our local community not do that? If not, why not?
