He said 'the kindest person in the room is the smartest' - and it made me think about my friends and aquaintances, and you know what? I think he's right.
So I am going to try to be kinder, it might increase my fading IQ, lol...
The more I think about that, the more it seems exactly right, especially when looking at some leaders around the world both past & present. Those who don't care about others seem to also be those who cause most harm becauseĀ kindness, & indeed, other people, neither interest nor concern them, (except when its to their advantage) & so they do the most damage.
Had a burst of energy earlier & mowed front lawn then did a bit more weeding - with 'help' from Madame le Cat wko luckily lost interest fairly quickly. Set out lawn clippings to dry out a bit if the sun ever shows itself, came in & had a coffee & read for a bit.
Then came online to find that creative cronies Moon calendar want one of my illustrations for next year's diary, which is really nice.
One of those sunflowers I planted is looking almost haddit not really sure if perhaps I under watered that one although it might just be coming to the end of its life.
in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)
