Some of those illegal aliens have lived & worked in the USA for quite a lengthy time, & now have families.
Its extremely difficult to see exactly how it might benefit anyone to remove parents while leaving their children unsupported, but given that that is what this person Trump did the last time then it seems likely to happen again as he does his best to appear 'tough on illegal migrants' for his supporters, regardless of any cruelty involved since his fans don't seem to mind at all.

I'm sure some exemptions will be made in those situations but unfortunately some people will get caught up in it but it's unavoidable.
The thing you are forgetting is these illegals deliberately have babies once they cross the border because they know they become US citizens and makes it harder to kick the parents out. This loophole needs to be sorted.
Might not be easy as it's in the constitution, but Trump believes ther is a way around this.
It should be noted that here in NZ you don't automatically get citizenship for being born here.
